My artistic practice invites the public into the world of Calligraffiti. A blend of calligraphy (arabesques in my case) and graffiti art.
Abstract and delicate curves intertwine to create visual poetry.
The creations offer the public immersive, colorful experiences, conducive to reflexion, present moment and interpretation, and tend to build bridges between communities.
During my artistic journey, influences and inspirations are varied. This allows me to play with new materials and techniques, while keeping calligraffiti at the heart of my practice.
With over thirty murals between Canada and Europe, and several invitations to renowned festivals, the pleasure of exchanging with the public is an important element for me.
I recently had the great privilege of receiving Emerging Artist status from the Canada Council for the Arts.

Why Facies?
Because it's the face in French. Without mask. Without artifice. The one that lets emotions shine through. The art I practice aspires to personal (and contagious!) meditation.
I must be transparent.
