TitiMcCoy is a visual artist based in Montreal. Initially trained in academic art techniques at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, he found his preferred creative space in urban art. The juxtaposition of these two practices is at the heart of his visual universe.
A member of the OTM crew for the past two years, TitiMcCoy has drawn inspiration from his Montreal artistic roots to develop a hybrid style juxtaposing realistic and abstract elements, both contrasting and colourful. In the same logic as his regular winter gallery exhibitions, his murals are periodically dedicated to specific themes. Those themes all reflect our humanity, our roots, our shared perspectives, and our place in the cosmos.
TitiMcCoy's intent in expressing his art in public spaces is to bring us closer together and create a positive, desirable narrative.
